Jesus shows us how we can get our passion back just as He showed the disciples how to get their passion back. It starts with an invitation from the Lord. John 21: 9 says “when they got out upon the land, they saw a charcoal fire already laid and fish placed on it and bread.” Jesus set the table for these weary fishermen whom He had called to a new occupation; in their frustration they went fishing and failed to catch or accomplish anything all night; yet there is a meal prepared for these confused, exhausted, and totally spent followers. It is here at their lowest point that we see the beginning of what it takes to get passion restored.
Jesus is able to take what we have, based on what we desire to do, and make it do what he wants it to do. We can rest assured knowing that we don’t have to be the best, most gifted or popular person to accomplish the plan and purpose of God
