Few moments in life feel as jarring as when a door slams shut in your face. You prayed, you prepared, you believed… and then the opportunity, relationship, or plan abruptly ends. Sometimes it’s a “soft close” — a slow drift away. Other times, it’s a slam you can almost hear in your spirit.
We often assume closed doors mean rejection, punishment, or failure. However, in God’s economy, a closed door is never random. It’s purposeful. It’s directional. In addition, sometimes, it’s protective.
The challenge is this: What do you do when God closes the door, and you still feel the urge to move forward?
