We have a tendency to become discouraged and disappointed when our needs are not met which leads to a sense of hopelessness which causes us to give up. Frustration at the lack of fulfillment and accomplishment lead us to conclude that God is not for us. We get angry and bitterness is not far behind. A cycle of destruction desires to take us out.
The good news is that God still loves us even in our mess.
