Obedience is the catalyst for moving forward. Just as Abraham stepped out in faith, our obedience to God’s Word opens doors to new opportunities.
However, moving forward is not always a straightforward proposition. In Abraham, we see the difficulty involved in staying true to ones mission in the face of many challenges.
It is one thing to say that we trust God, but another thing to place our own future completely in God’s hands. In today’s passage, an opportunity to show trust in God exist for Abraham. Because he rose to the occasion, he is a model of faith for us all. His was by no means a perfect faith. In this week's message we look at Abraham’s early Faith Journey.
