In these difficult times, marked by division and strife, we are called to love one another. We often do well loving people who are similar to us, but God does not call us to only love people like us. He calls us to love one another. This includes people who may hold different traditions and those with differing political views. This includes the poor, the sick, and the immigrants. We are to extend God’s love to this broken, dying world.
At the same time, we must ensure that we hold fast to sound teaching and continue in the things we have been commanded. We must also walk in integrity and work to earn our living. Finally, we must be committed to the spread of the love of God and message of the Gospel.
